The American flag has long been a well-loved symbol of our original 13 colonies and current 50 states. Flag Day had been “unofficially” observed on June 14th for many decades before it was signed as an Act of Congress in 1949 by President Truman and proclaimed  National Flag Day. Here we are, almost 70 years later since the official proclamation, and Rustic Red Door isthrilled to show you our new and beautiful, recently added flag-themed decor!

I love, love, love our new Flag Cutting BoardsThe high quality of these handmade, solid wood beauties is in itself something to be appreciated; however, you’ll also delight in its extreme functionality while filling the role of being the perfect kitchen helper during food prep.  An additional use option (among others) is to show off the magnificent intricacies of its fine wood grain while it doubles as a serving platter for your hors d’oeuvres.

Also joining our flag-themed inventory are wonderfully well-crafted Flag Display CasesThe evident craftsmanship is the perfect compliment to frame and showcase your family heirloom. If you or someone you know are one of the privileged who’s been given the honor of receiving the burial flag used to bring special recognition to your favorite veteran, then there’s no better way to display the red, white and blue of Old Glory.  With dimensions of 28” x 14.5”, our flag display cases are available in solid Sap Cherry wood with natural stain; solid Oak wood stained in Antique Slate; and solid Brown Maple wood stained in Cappuccino.
