In the first 6 photos you see on this page, you're taking a look inside a 1912 Craftsman Home. As an architect, the homeowner and his wife began renovations soon after making their purchase. They chose a quartersawn oak countertop and antique slate stain that gave it a more modern touch.
Above, the white cabinets are made of beautiful maple wood. The black glaze gave it the distressed, farmhouse look they were going for. To make their kitchen more functional, we made a custom spice rack, corner cabinet, and cutting board. You can see some of the shelves (hung with our arch steel brackets) we made for them as well!
Our next custom countertops are made of reclaimed barnwood! It's easy to incorporate the neutral color of reclaimed barnwood into your kitchen, no matter the color of your cabinets. It all has a way of blending cohesively together to create a cozy rustic kitchen.
The majority of our barnwood is made of oak - an incredibly durable wood that's perfect for countertops!
