Warranty and Defective/Damaged Product Information
Each item from Rustic Red Door is hand-crafted by select American craftsmen who take great care in building heirloom-quality furniture.
We stand by your investment, so we offer a One Year Limited Warranty for our wood furniture (tables, quilt hangers, benches, etc.) and steel hardware. If there is a defect with the material or construction, we will repair or replace the item. (See Defective or Damaged Item below)
As solid wood breathes, it expands and contracts with normal temperature and humidity changes. These fluctuations will not affect the integrity or beauty of your furniture. However, extreme humidity, high or low, and exposure to extreme heat sources can affect solid wood furniture; therefore, proper care and use are essential for preserving your rights under this warranty.
Please follow these guidelines for wood furniture:
Keep your home’s relative humidity between 30% and 60% all year.
Keep your home’s temperature between 60° and 80° all year.
Avoid placing any furniture in close proximity to an extreme heat source.
For long-lasting protection, we apply a catalyzed polyurethane finish as our standard finish. This will stand up to general household use including spills, warm/cold plates, and cups*.
*Commercial Use: For heavy use and commercial applications, we offer urethane and oil finishes at an additional cost. Ask us for further details about these heavy use/commercial finish options.
Wear and tear
Abuse or misuse of the product including modifying the product in any way
Use of indoor products outdoors (unless specified for outdoor use)
Commercial use unless specified for commercial use
Seasonal wood expansion/contractions and splits
Damage to person or property caused by the misuse or abuse of the product

This warranty does not cover:
Rust or discoloration that develops from scratches or abrasions to the powder-coated finish from handling or cleaning**
