Live Edge or Square Edge?

The outer edges of your slab are a design choice of their own — keep the tree's natural contour, or cut them straight for a cleaner, more architectural line.

The tree's natural outer contour is preserved, so the silhouette of your table is one of a kind. Organic, rustic, and unmistakably handmade.

Square Edge

The outer edges are cut straight for a crisp, architectural profile — the same one-of-a-kind slab and epoxy river, in a cleaner modern silhouette.

More Than Just River Tables

Epoxy isn't limited to wide river designs. We also create subtle epoxy inlays, decorative accents, natural crack and knot fills, and custom artistic epoxy features that highlight the beauty of solid hardwood while maintaining a timeless look.

River Tables

A large flowing epoxy centerpiece between two live edge slabs — the boldest, most sculptural option.

Epoxy Inlays

A thin center stripe or slim accent line. Minimalist, quiet, and beautiful on a solid hardwood top.

Natural Crack & Knot Fills

Epoxy stabilizes voids, cracks and knots, turning the wood's character into the feature. Any color works — black and clear are the most common choices.

Artistic Epoxy Designs

Ocean-inspired pours, metallic shimmer, freeform and organic shapes — designed with you, one of a kind.

Table Bases

We fabricate our own steel bases in house, so the base can be matched to your slab rather than chosen from a catalog. Click any base to see it larger.

Cross Tube Base

Sculptural X of square tube — ideal under round tops.

Pedestal

Center column with splayed feet — maximum legroom.

Flare Base

Sweeping curved legs that flare to the floor — a favorite for round tables as well as rectangular.

Twisted Knuckle

Curved arcs joined by a forged center collar.

Forged Loop

Sweeping arcs that curl into a forged loop at the foot.

U Base

Clean industrial lines — a modern rectangular staple.

Golden Gate

Twin sweeping arches on a trestle span — an airy, architectural look with plenty of legroom.

Timber Base

Curved steel paired with a timber block at the joint — typically cut from wood matching your tabletop.

Steel Base Colors

Every steel base is finished by hand, so the color is yours to choose. Black Texture is our most popular, but the warmer bronzes and golds are lovely against pale woods like spalted maple. Screens vary — ask us for a sample if you are matching to existing hardware.

Natural

Raw steel sealed with a clear coat — warm grey-brown with natural mottling.

Black Texture

Deep matte black with a fine texture. Our most popular finish.

Gold Rubbed Bronze

Soft greige-bronze with a gently rubbed, aged look.

River Table FAQs

Are all river tables unique?

Yes. Every live edge river table is built from a one-of-a-kind hardwood slab, so the grain, live edge shape and character marks are never repeated. Even two tables in the same wood and epoxy color will look noticeably different side by side.

Can I choose my slab?

Absolutely, and most customers do. We'll send photos of available slabs in your species and size range so you can pick the one you connect with before we begin building.

Can I customize the dimensions?

Yes. We build to order in any length, width, height and shape — from a 60" round to a twelve-foot banquet table. Send your room dimensions and we'll help you land on a size that actually fits the space.

Which epoxy colors are available?

We pour thirteen signature colors: Pearl, Dolphin, Copper, American, Margarita, Avocado, Earth Blue, Caribbean, Maui, Ocean, Caviar, Black and Stone. If you have a specific color in mind beyond those, we can usually match it — and samples are available.

How durable is epoxy?

Our epoxy cures to a hard, water-resistant surface built for everyday family dining. Use trivets under hot cookware and coasters under drinks, the same as you would with any fine wood furniture.

Will the epoxy yellow over time?

We use premium UV-resistant resin specifically to prevent yellowing. Keeping the table out of long hours of harsh direct sunlight will keep clear epoxy looking crisp for decades.

Where are your river tables made?

They're handcrafted in America by skilled Amish woodworkers, primarily in Ohio and sometimes Pennsylvania. Nothing is mass-produced and nothing is imported.

What is the delivery timeline?

Most custom river tables are completed in about 6–18 weeks depending on the design and slab selection. You'll get an estimated window when your order is confirmed, and we'll keep you posted along the way.

Do you ship nationwide?

Yes — free white-glove delivery to the lower 48 states, where your table is brought inside and set up. Alaska and Hawaii are quoted case by case; just ask and we'll work out the details.

How do I maintain my river table?

Wipe it with a soft damp cloth and mild soap, skip abrasive or ammonia-based cleaners, and use trivets and coasters. That's genuinely all it takes.
