What Does Live Edge Mean?
In reality, live edge is a term used to describe a style of furniture. For each solid piece of live edge wood, the bark has been carefully removed without disturbing the natural development of the edge. Every table, shelf, or bench has its own amazingly unique knots and characteristics that add to the wholesomeness of its simple beauty; therefore, no two pieces can ever be exactly alike.
Expertly Crafted Amish Furniture
This live edge slab of maple is from a tree grown in the United States as are all of our live edge pieces. To ensure stability for the bench, we added two hand-welded steel legs. The maple wood has a natural finish and pre-catalyzed polyurethane for protection while the steel has a black powder-coated finish to protect it for years to come.
Our Amish Craftsmen expertly create these beautiful benches with the best solid wood materials to ensure heirloom quality. This way, you'll be able to pass down this maple live edge bench for generations.
