2023 brought us the privilege of bringing countless unique visions to life through custom furniture projects. From an intricately designed conference table to dining tables that became the heart of family gatherings to personalized shelving units that transformed rooms into stunning living spaces, each project celebrated individual style and craftsmanship. Here are just a few of our favorites.
The main image above showcases an amazing live edge walnut wood dining table with beautiful copper epoxy throughout. (The walnut wood pieces were supplied by our customer.) Supporting the walnut and epoxy is an American steel “Twisted Knuckle” base. Our Akron Barnwood Dining Chairs, handcrafted from reclaimed barnwood, complete this beautiful dining ensemble. These pieces are the perfect balance of incredible craftsmanship and uniquely inspired design!
Live Edge Oak Table and Bench
Another outstanding project was a custom live edge oak dining table with a stunning Architectural-style American Steel base. A matching oak bench was designed with a “Twisted X” base to complete this beautiful set. As you can see, nature's organic beauty was preserved in every curve, crevice, and knot of the table and bench’s wood.
Purrfectly Private Kitty Litter Privy
We especially love this amazing custom-made kitty litter compartment! As with all of our Reclaimed Barnwood Furniture, it combines functionality with aesthetic appeal. This piece also offers a stylish solution to a common pet care dilemma: where to hide the unsightly mess and offensive odors of kitty litter.
Handcrafted with precision and attention to detail, this clever design features a litter pan behind each of the barnwood doors that allow for easy access to cleanup. The middle "hallway" functions as the kitty's access to the litter boxes, but it also makes a cozy hideout for this favored feline to watch all the day's events unfold.

Double Tiered Live Edge Walnut Sofa Table and Bench
Crafting a live edge walnut sofa table with 2 tiers plus a walnut bench with a seat and back were other memorable projects for 2023.
Hand-welded, powder-coated, American steel “Golden Gate”-style legs bring sturdiness to this beautiful rustic bench and add a classic industrial feel to this one-of-a-kind furniture piece. A coordinating sofa table was handcrafted to be the bench's perfect match with its classic walnut lines and black, powder-coated steel frame. As you can see from these photos, the rich, varying shades of the wood are some of the many beautiful features that make live edge walnut wood furniture such a popular choice.
