We had the wonderful opportunity to help the owners of this lovely suburban home create a dining table for their area based on their space requirements. We enjoyed helping them create a warm, rustic, and inviting place where family and friends will gather for mealtimes. Quartersawn Oak Dining Table

Inspired by the Pathway table, this family wanted a functional piece as the focal point of their dining room. They opted for a wood extendable dining table - but instead of reclaimed oak, they chose quartersawn white oak. Underneath the table is a sturdy trestle base that gives a subtle farmhouse feel to this rustic atmosphere.


For seating, they chose our Hawthorne dining chairs, also in a quartersawn white oak. The ladderback dining chairs give comfortable support while they can sit and chat over dinner. This dining combination looks wonderful with their unique light fixture as well!

Buffet with Brown Maple & Quartersawn White Oak

Behind the table, you see a custom-made rustic buffet made of brown maple and quartersawn white oak. This handcrafted piece has a brown maple base with a dark and rich stain. This adds a subtle contrast with the quartersawn oak buffet top. What a beautiful piece! They also chose custom-made handles for a unique twist on this gorgeous piece.


With three drawers, 2 doors, open shelving, and plenty of surface space on the buffet top, there's so much room for adding decor and storing special dinnerware!

Quartersawn Oak Shelves with Steel Brackets

Completing the look of the beautiful dining space is handcrafted wall décor. Keeping with the quartersawn white oak furniture, we created custom shelves that are on display right above the buffet. We created some hand-welded arched steel brackets to support the shelf and décor. Can we just take a moment to appreciate how wonderfully they decorated their dining pieces? They look beautiful!
