Rustic Red Door Christmas Tour - Ideas from the Warehouse
Merry Christmas from all of us at Rustic Red Door! The holiday season is in full swing and we want to give you some inspiration for rustic Christmas decorating ideas. From your fireplace mantel to your family dinner table, you will find simple and timeless ways to make your space merry and bright! Our very talented and creative interior designer, Jen Fanucci, decked the halls of our warehouse to give you a good dose of holiday inspiration! She went with a timeless, classic holiday theme while keeping the signature rustic look.
Let’s begin with the entrance to our warehouse and work our way in and around the inside.
Wreaths and Garlands Galore
Jen adorned our exterior doors and windows with these beautiful wreaths and garlands from Marshall’s. They not only look completely real, but they are made out of a really neat waterproof material that’s perfect for withstanding the snow and rain of the season!
Windows & Mantels with Holiday Cheer
After stepping inside, you’ll see that Jen created the same look with each of the warehouse windows, carrying the holiday theme throughout. She started with realistic-looking faux greens, pinecones, red berries, and white lights, and finished it with birch twigs. At the center of each display is a black metal lantern tied with a simple deep red and cream ticking ribbon with a flameless candle inside. We love how the “flickering” candle and visual inspiration from the outdoors bring a lovely sense of warmth and coziness to the warehouse.
The greens and birch twigs are from Cocalico Creek, and the lanterns are a mix from Jen’s own collection and those that were already on display at the warehouse.
As for this lovely fireplace mantel, she transformed it into a homey Christmas living room setting. The mantel is topped with faux greens from Nest Home Decor along with some super cool, very large pinecones that were thrifted. The chalkboard is sold here at Rustic Red Door and the hand lettering was artistically created by Jen. The deep red and cream ticking garland was found on Jen’s recent trip to Magnolia Market in Waco, TX, and is a beautiful contrast to the reclaimed wood of the fireplace surround. Feel free to steal these ideas for your mantel this holiday season!
Holiday Dining Table Festivities
If you’ve been following us for a while, you’ve probably noticed how much we love decorating dining tables. That’s why we decided to present two different ideas that you can bring to your table! Let’s start with our round table decor.
For the round Granby table, which is great for intimate settings, Jen chose a cabin-inspired feel with chargers and plaid napkins from Target. Adding the red lantern and wreaths gives the table a pop of color with a warm holiday welcome. This simple part of Christmas table decorating entices you to sit down, relax, and eat!
Next are ideas for rectangular tables. The decorations for this Parker Extendable Farmhouse Table were inspired by the extra-large bells Jen found at The Olde Mill House Shoppes in Strasburg, PA. Since the cream runner is a part of the centerpiece, there was no need for placemats as our goal for this table was to have a simple setting. Jen added napkins from Marshall’s, greenery from The Old Candle Barn, and beautiful brass candlesticks that alternate with the bells. As you can see, with just a few different pieces, you can easily create an inviting, festive table everyone will admire.
Jen found all these pieces locally so you may very well find them in your holiday storage, your neighborhood Marshalls, or thrift stores! You’ll discover that it’s simple to create that timeless, classic holiday look, as exemplified here.
