Handcrafted Farmhouse Table with Distressed Base
We care about giving you the best material for your dining table, so we use barnwood that's sourced in America and then built in America.
The dining tabletop of the Avon table is made of Reclaimed Oak Barnwood and, with the skirt, reflects beautiful, natural characteristics found in the knots and grain of each solid wood piece. It is finished in Provincial Stain that's protected with a pre-catalyzed polyurethane which makes this farmhouse dining table resistant to heat and moisture and an excellent choice for family meals, homework, entertaining, and more. If you're looking for a longer table, breadboard end extensions are an option.
Accommodating more guests is a simple process with the trestle’s gliding mechanism. The top easily extends past 108” by inserting leaves (sold separately). Leaves/extensions must be purchased to make the table extendable.
The Distressed Pearl trestle base contrasts well against the stain of the tabletop. With a bit of the wood remaining visible through the Pearl, it gives the base somewhat of a distressed appearance.
What Is This Table Made From?
This table is made of reclaimed oak barnwood - a unique piece of wood that creates the ultimate farmhouse atmosphere. Oak is known for being extremely durable and, when properly cared for, the Avon Table will last as long as the memories.
But what is reclaimed barnwood?
Basically, old barns are deconstructed and made into reclaimed wood -a perfect upgrade for wood furniture that is good for the planet too! Another bonus is that reclaimed wood is more durable and can add a rustic or eclectic style to your dining space.
